Info IconWow! What a few weeks this has been.

And before I go any further I just wanted to say thankyou to ALL of you for being so patient.

We’re aware that we’ve been focused on other things these past few days, and the fact that you’ve been so blimmin’ nice in your emails and comments is really, really appreciated.

So then, onto business.
We’ve gone and made some changes – and we think you’ll like ‘em!

We’ve taken all of your feedback over the past couple of months (we only launched in April!) and think that we’ve made some great improvements.

- EVERY shirt can now be bought!
We can’t tell you how happy this one has made us – No longer do you have to wrestle with the trauma of the dreaded ‘approvals process’! If you want to create a shirt and buy it yourself you can!

Just want to make shirts available to your mates? No problem – you even have a fab new URL just for you!

- Only want to see the truly GREAT shirts? Introducing Bountee’s Most Wanted!
I think it’s fair to say that your feedback on the designs on the site has been wonderfully positive, but the approvals process really didn’t allow the truly ‘amazing’ talent that we have managed to grab over these past few months to shine. Now with the introduction of our Most Wanted shirts you can finally get a chance to buy the best of the best, or even allow your shirt the opportunity to become one of the glittering few!

- Photo comments allow everyone to make some money!
Even if you’re not a designer now, you can still support the community and your own wallets by adding photos to comments on shirt designs. Add a photo, wait for it to be approved by our moderators and then – ‘kerblammo!’ – you get yourself a gift code for future Bountee purchases! Cool eh?

- Archive your designs!
And perhaps the biggest, most requested change of all: you can now remove designs from your main list / remove items from sale or try your luck with the Most Wanted vote!

And we’re not finished yet – keep checking back over the next few weeks to see some fantastic additions!

Thanks again everyone – we really like to think of Bountee.com as ‘our’ site – and your feedback as made us proud to be part of this wonderful community!

——-

Note: The site will be a bit weird for the next couple of hours as we update everything. Please bear with us as we make things ‘right’.

  1. F*CKIN’ A!

  2. there are like 23 shirts in the shop, none of my old designs are available. Will the old designs come back to thew shop or we’ll have to submit them again?

  3. Hi Puzon,

We’ve had to basically start the design submission stuff again from scratch, although we are re-adding as many of the most popular products as we can.

Coming in the next few hours will be ALL products available from the Search page though.

So in answer to your question:

    - You might find it quicker to resubmit your designs if you want Most Wanted status

    - You can still find AND SELL all of your designs from your new userpage i.e. http://www.bountee.com/user/puzon

    Hope this helps…

We’re still working on the rollout so it’ll get better as time goes on :)

  4. how about printing on the back of the shirt instead of just the front?

that’d allow designs that make use of being on the back of the shirt.

and that’d allow for designs that make use of “both” sides of the shirt, too.

  5. Please clarify the differences between “Most Wanted”, “Most Recent”, and “Most Popular”. These are all headings showing on the main page. I thought I can click on the “Most Wanted” image on the main page to see the most-wanted tees, but it is not a link. The tees displayed right under the “Most Recent” heading on the main page seems to be most-wanted tees. But when I click on the View All link in that section, I got to see something else that does not appear to be the most-wanted. So, what does “Most Recent” means … does it mean the most recently uploaded, or the most recently submit-to-vote? And why are the most-wanted tees showing under that “Most Recent” on the main page. Why is meaning of using the most-wanted icon image right next to the “Most Recent” heading and the “Browse by Colour” headings? And, what is the different between most-wanted and most-popular? When I view the most-popular tees, am I looking at the most-wanted? … etc

  6. Hey Pixohammer.

Errr. yeah – you’re right. We actually have a small bug with the search stuff right now and are looking to fix it.

Basically, everything you see on the homepage *should* be most wanted content. And that means *everything*.

The rest should only be available if you look for it via the search/SHOP page – or if you’ve browsed to it from elsewhere.

The Most Popular sidebar is the most popular/voted upon from the Most Wanted.

But that’s confusing innit? I think we’ll change that title.

Hope this makes a little sense?
