  1. My natwest service-card (though not a credit-card) has a maestro logo, i filled form’s card details but failed to order succesfully.
Does my service-card with maestro count as a credit card?

  2. Hey Jimbo, Thanks for testing this. It should be fixed now.

Anyone from the US with a Maestro or Mastercard want to test this? Free shirt still on offer :)

  3. My order passed through succesfully! and have received email confirmation order as pdf file.
Now looking forward to (pee with anticipation) getting shirt in the post.

  4. 2 questions.
    1) is there a way for the designers themselves to get a lower discounted price for a minimum number of shirts. Just so they can physically advertise their product outside of the web.
    2) Are there other brands of t-shirts to choose from? A lot of my friends say they prefer american apparel for the shirt quality. ( I also agree based on the price of the shirts on this site)
Also as a side note, the shipping price on a single shirt jacks the price up considerably. Most times people end up having to pay $30 and up for a shirt. I can understand thes prices on shirts that only have a limited run.

  5. Hey SACKS10…

    In answer to your stuff:

    1) Minimum number as in – “can I buy 10 from you and then take them to a trade show?”
Currently no, but I like that idea a lot. We should look into this.

    2) Brands of shirts at the moment is something we are exploring all the time. We chose ALstyle as opposed to AA for two reasons:

1 – We did quite a lot of testing and people do seem to prefer the slightly heavier weight of the shirts. American Apparel do tend to polarise the audience – you either love ‘em or hate ‘em.

2 – AA are actually pretty expensive and we found that that print quality was far greater on ALstyle as well.

However, as our print process gets better and the potential for cheaper AA shirts gets greater I don’t think we’ll be far off from offering a selection.

And as for shipping, I’m afraid you’ll have to blame USPS for that :? They rapidly increased their costs a couple of months ago and pretty much stuck it to everyone who used them.

If we went with traditional mail it would be cheaper but you’d also have no web tracking and no email confirmation (which invariably means more lost packages).

It’s all toss-ups and pros and cons, but we do look at this stuff all the time.

Plus the bigger we get – with your help – the more power we have to negotiate right :)

  6. For what it’s worth, I’m glad you don’t use AA, at least partly. They’re a creepy company and the shirts aren’t all that great.
